Run for a Girl Child – Sewa Bharti, Delhi

By registering for the Run for a Girl Child – Sewa Bharti, Delhi, event for cause, participants agree to abide by the following terms and conditions:

  • Participation is open to individuals of all age groups. Participants under 12 years must provide parental or guardian consent.
  • The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • Registration Fees: 3Km Fun Run (Non-Timed): ₹300 | 5Km Fun Run (Non-Timed): ₹400 | 10Km Run (Timed): ₹500
  • Sewa Bharti, Delhi (Organizer) reserve the right to modify or cancel the event due to unforeseen circumstances.
  • Participants must comply with all instructions from event officials, volunteers, and authorities.

  • Registration is confirmed upon successful payment.
  • Incorrect or incomplete information may lead to cancellation of registration.
  • Participants must bring a valid ID for verification on event day.

  • Participant declare that he/she is physically and mentally fit to participate in this event.
  • The organizers are not liable for any injury, illness, or loss sustained during or as a result of the event.
  • First aid will be available at designated points. Participants are responsible for their own medical needs.

Before applying for the Run and coming on event day, please review these medical scenarios based on the 2020 PAR-Q+:

  • Has your doctor ever said that you have a heart condition or high blood pressure?
  • Do you feel pain in your chest at rest, during your daily activities of living, or when you do physical activity?
  • Do you lose balance because of dizziness, or have you lost consciousness in the last 12 months?
  • Have you ever been diagnosed with another chronic medical condition (other than heart disease or high blood pressure)?
  • Are you currently taking prescribed medications for a chronic medical condition?
  • Do you have a bone, joint, or soft tissue (muscle, ligament, or tendon) problem that could be made worse by becoming more physically active?
  • Has your doctor ever said that you should only do medically supervised physical activity?

The above questionnaire helps identify any potential health risks associated with physical activity. You are strongly advised to consult your personal physician/ doctor before embarking on training and participating in the run /race. If you have answered ‘YES’ to any of the above 2020 PAR-Q+ questions, it is even more reason for you to seek medical advice before you commence training and participate for the run. While running has its health benefits, it’s crucial to acknowledge the reality of your body, mind, and the inherent risks associated with negotiating such extended distances. Train responsibly and ensure you are fit to participate safely.

Only a doctor who is familiar with your unique medical history, current health status, medications, and pre-existing risk factors can provide guidance on your suitability for training and participation in the Run for a Girl Child- Delhi. By following these straightforward steps and heeding the counsel of your physician, you’ll be better equipped to make informed decisions about participating in the run.

  • Participants must adhere to the designated route and follow event signage.
  • Any form of cheating, misconduct, or unsportsmanlike behaviour will result in disqualification.
  • Participants are responsible for their own belongings. The organizers will not be held responsible for lost or stolen items.

  • By participating, participants grant the Sewa Bharti, Delhi (Organizer) the right to use event photographs, videos, and other media for promotional purposes without additional consent or compensation.

  • Participants are encouraged to maintain cleanliness during the event and dispose of waste responsibly.

  • Participants accept full responsibility for any risks associated with the event. The Participant is participating in the Run for Girl Child- Delhi out of his/her own will and desire and after taking proper medical consultation.
  • Participant understand that the in case of any medical emergency or accident or any injury during the participation of the event or before and after, the event organiser of Run for Girl Child – Sewa Bharti, Delhi or the representatives or officials of Sewa Bharati Delhi are not responsible or liable.
  • The organizers, sponsors, and associated entities are not responsible for any injury, accident, or loss.

  • In case of circumstances beyond the control of the Sewa Bharti, Delhi (Organizer), such as natural disasters, pandemics, or government regulations, the event may be cancelled or postponed without refund.

  • Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the local courts of Delhi, India.
